DRUG PAPER

The purpose of this assignment is to provide you with the opportunity to explore and research a topic that interests you about drugs and drug policy. Choose a topic that you are passionate about.
You have the option of addressing issues pertaining  to a particular drug (e.g. LSD, meth, cocaine) , comparing two drugs (tobacco vs. marijuana) ,or addressing another question (such as “organized crime and the drug trade”, “are rehabilitation centers effective for drug users”, “why do people take drugs?’)  that you would like to learn more about.

It is important that you write clearly, cite relevant sources of information, and demonstrate to me that you have deepened your understanding of the topic of your paper. It is also vital that you learn from doing this assignment.
As mentioned in the syllabus, “You are to write a three to five page paper SINGLE-spaced. The paper should be well though out, thoroughly researched, and should include reference materials that you reviewed in the course. You should choose a topic that you are interested in and one that is directly related to this course.”
As a point of clarification, the paper should include a title page and a reference page. You are also required to include an introduction and a conclusion.
